Dake Recounts Work for Beloit Campaign
Around July 1998, Dake said he was told by ARC director Ray Carey he would be working on the Assembly campaign of John Murphy in Beloit. He said by late summer he was working full-time on the Murphy campaign. Dake said at that time, he wasn't doing much in the way of other work at the ARC. But, he said, he "believes at that time" that at least part of his salary was covered by the Republican Party.
Dake said in the Murphy and Stone races, Jensen would stop by the campaign headquarters or call to get updates on the race and on fundraising.
